Are ALLERGENS & DUST blowing
                                             out of your vents?

The air inside our homes is re-circulated through our air duct system over & over & over again. Most ducts are coated with dust that contains allergens like dust mites, pollen & dander. Air Duct Cleaning & Sanitizing improves your Indoor Air Quality by getting to the SOURCE of your homes dust & allergens.

Dirty ducts circulate dirty air. They can also provide a breeding ground for a variety of microbial growth such as mold and bacteria, and can even shorten the life of your furnace and air conditioner.

Having your ducts professionally cleaned can enhance air quality, eliminate built-up dirt and improve overall air circulation. Your service can also include sanitizing to minimize any microbial growth within your duct work. Best of all, ducts cleaned by qualified service technicians continue to provide all these benefits for an average of 3-4 years.

Midwest Air Care technicians use one of the most powerful and effective air duct cleaning systems on the market today. And you can count on Midwest Air Care for Satisfaction Guaranteed.

Air System Cleaning

FOUR QUICK AND EASY STEPS TO PROPERLY CLEAN YOUR AIR SYSTEM

This series of steps and pictures is designed to give a general overview of the
major steps required to clean and decontaminate a residential furnace/air conditioner
and its associated duct system.

The system will be test for proper operation, then the power will be disconnected for safety purposes

The interior of the furnace/air conditioner will b vacuumed

The cooling coils will be cleaned with a HEPA vacuum and a coil
cleaner

The blower unit will be cleaned

An automist fogger will be used to decontaminate the interior
surfaces with Envirocon or Sporicidin, the EPA registered biocide

The wall, ceiling, and floor registers will be removed

Registers will be washed with Dynamite cleaner and rinsed

The supply duct openings will be blocked with foam register plugs

The filter will be placed in a plastic bag and installed in the return to block the airflow

A negative air machine will be attached to the system, either at a duct opening or the furnace plenum with an adapter plate

A power brush will aggressively remove duct debris or an air powered tool can be used to remove duct debris more gently

Ducts will be fogged withEnviroCon or Sporicidin, Soot Set sealant, and an Odor Kill deodorizer

The bagged filter from the return should be replaced with an electrostatic air filter

The foam plugs will be removed and the registers will be reinstalled

Solid Odor Kill should be placed in the return to control odors for up to 3 months

If these steps are followed, the entire duct systems and furnace/air conditioner will be clean and decontaminated.  The power to the system will be reconnected, and the system will be tested to verify that everything is working properly.
